Job Description
Job Title: Junior Helpdesk Engineer (Tech Support)Different shifts available:- Full time Monday thru Friday 7am to 3pm (Monthly Salary US$1,300)- Part time Monday thru Friday 3pm to 7pm (Monthly Salary US$650)- Part time Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 3pm (Monthly Salary US$400)- Part time Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 7pm (Monthly Salary US$400)What You’ll Do:Respond to and resolve IT tickets covering hardware, software, network, and system issues.Monitor and respond to alerts from our RMM platform.Handle incoming support calls and provide timely, professional assistance.Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when appropriate.Document all issues, solutions, and processes in the knowledge base.Assist with onboarding new users, including account setup and device configuration.Assist with offboarding exiting users, including user account suspension, agent removals, etc.Maintain IT systems in line with policies, procedures, and best practices.Participate in scheduled shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends, to maintain 24/7 coverage.What You Bring:Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking.Familiarity with Windows and macOS environments.Experience with common business applications (Office 365, email clients, collaboration tools).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to work shift schedules, including nights and weekends.Nice to Have:Prior helpdesk or customer support experience.Experience with the AutoTask PSA platform.Experience with N-able’s N-central RMM platform.Experience with MDM (mobile device management) tools, such as Hexnode, Mosyle, or Intune.Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management (ITSM) workflows.Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).Why You’ll Love It Here:Hands-on experience with industry-standard IT tools and platforms.Opportunity to grow within a dynamic IT organization and advance into senior roles.Supportive team environment with mentoring from experienced engineers.Please send your English resume to Chriss@nearshore-staffing.com specifying the shift you are applying for.Thank you!
