As a key contributor in our HR Ops team in Amsterdam, we are looking for a proactive Junior HR Officer. This role focuses on delivering state-of-the-art HR services to Business and HR stakeholders in a fast-paced, international environment. With a strong affinity for data and systems, you will play an important role in maintaining HR processes, producing reports, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will contribute to a high-performing HR function while developing your skills and career. Depending on your skills and aspirations, you can grow into broader or more specialized roles.What You’ll DoGeneral HR operationsSupport day-to-day HR operations, including administration for new hires, leavers, and internal transfers. Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations. Assist with HR processes such as onboarding, contract administration, and absence management. Manage employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and general employment matters. HR systems & reportingSupport HR Business Partners and HR Specialists with business insights through standard and custom reporting. Drive data accuracy and data literacy initiatives. Ensure availability and updates of our local HR systems for all users. Continuous improvementContinuously enhance HR service delivery by collaborating with internal stakeholders, standardizing best practices, and sharing knowledge across teams and regions. Who You AreCompleted HBO or university education in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. Some working experience in HR is required. Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English. Affinity with data and systems, with the ability to use HR systems (e.g. Workday) effectively and create reports. Basic reporting skills with an ambition to further develop them. Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail. Proactive and hands-on, with a willingness to learn and develop. Strong problem-solving abilities and a growth mindset.
