Join Our Team as a Junior Infrastructure & Security Engineer!Fintrellis Limited is a Mauritius-based fintech company specializing in secure digital payment systems and financial technology solutions. We design and develop PCI DSS-compliant backend platforms, APIs, and cloud infrastructure for clients in the financial services sector.As part of our continued growth, we’re seeking a Junior Infrastructure & Security Engineer to join our engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about cloud operations, security, and automation, eager to grow their expertise in a regulated fintech environment alongside experienced engineers.Key Responsibilities:Support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of PCI DSS-compliant cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS).Assist with managing hybrid infrastructure, including cloud and physical server environments.Help maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation workflows.Manage and administer IT operations tools (Google Workspace, Slack, and related SaaS platforms).Handle user provisioning, access management, and daily IT support requests.Participate in security operations including vulnerability management, access control, and incident response.Support compliance and audit activities related to PCI DSS and ISO 27001 frameworks.Monitor system performance, investigate incidents, and document resolutions.Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure secure and reliable delivery cycles.Contribute to improving DevOps practices, IT operations, and security posture.What We’re Looking For:Foundational knowledge of Linux administration, networking, and cloud environments (AWS preferred).Experience with SaaS administration and user management (Google Workspace, Slack, or similar).Understanding of security principles and compliance requirements in regulated environments.Familiarity with Docker, version control (Git/GitHub), and CI/CD concepts.Basic scripting ability (Bash, Python, or similar).Strong curiosity about infrastructure automation, security operations, and compliance frameworks.Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.Team-oriented approach with clear communication and a customer service mindset.Nice to Have:Exposure to PCI DSS, ISO 27001, or other compliance frameworks.Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).Understanding of container orchestration (ECS, Kubernetes).Experience with IT service management or ticketing tools.
