Junior Interior Designer - Drafting

We are currently seeking a skilled Junior Interior Designer to fill a full-time, direct-hire position with one of our prestigious clients in the interior design sector.ConnectPro BPO has partnered with a dynamic and innovative design firm dedicated to creating sophisticated and functional spaces. We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer with a strong passion for technical drafting to join their team.In this role, you will be an employee of the design firm, playing a crucial part in supporting their design team from concept to completion. The ideal candidate has exceptional technical skills and a keen eye for detail, with a primary focus on producing high-quality construction documents and technical drawings. You will work closely with senior designers and project managers to translate creative concepts into precise, actionable plans.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and prepare detailed technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details using AutoCAD and Revit.Create 3D models and renderings to visualize design concepts using software like SketchUp and V-Ray.Assist senior designers in space planning and the development of design concepts.Help source and specify materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting.Assemble client presentation materials, including mood boards and material palettes.Maintain organized project documentation and update material libraries.Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed accurately.Participate in site visits to take measurements and assist with project installation oversight.Qualifications and SkillsBachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of professional experience at a US-based interior design or architectural firm.Essential: High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
