We are looking for an experienced Productions Clerk to join our team. Role and Responsibilities Build strong client relationships, providing personalized attention and exceptional service;Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about developments, offers, and next steps;Manage a caseload of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, medical malpractice, and other injury-related claims;Review and assess client files, ensuring all necessary documentation is gathered and analyzed;Ensure all communications, legal filings, and court appearances are conducted with integrity and professionalism;Stay informed about legislative changes, legal trends, and precedents in Ontario;Conduct legal research on relevant laws, statutes, and case precedents related to personal injury;Draft and review statements of claim, mediation and pre-trial memorandums, motion records, legal factums, and research memorandums;Negotiate settlements with insurance companies, defendants, and other parties to secure the best possible compensation for clients;Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings;Advocate on behalf of clients during trials or hearings;Attend LAT hearings with the Accident Benefits Specialist;Work closely with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to manage case files and meet deadlines;Collaborate with colleagues and legal professionals/experts to develop effective legal strategies;Maintain the highest ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality and adhering to the Law Society of Ontario's rules of professional conduct;Avoid conflicts of interest and remain impartial when advising clients; andPerform any other duties as requested by the Founders. Qualifications And Education Requirements 1 - 2 years of experience in Personal Injury;Called to the Bar in Ontario; Licence in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario; andExperience with PCLaw, Filevine and Monday is considered an asset. Preferred Skills Ability to multi-task and take on additional projects or assignments to develop skill set;Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction, negotiation and court proceedings; Superior time management and organizational skills to manage competing priorities.Excellent interpersonal skills;Highly detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy; Excellent technical and software skills, including MS Office Suite;Ability to work well independently, as well as in a team setting;Proven ability to handle all aspects of litigation, from case inception to trial;Ability to handle complex legal documents and provide meticulous case management;Ensure adherence to all applicable legal regulations and ethical standards governing the practice of law in Ontario.Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct in all aspects of legal practice.Strong ability to negotiate settlements that are in the best interest of clients; andStrong work ethic. Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
