Our offices are based in Berlin, Prague, Melbourne, Brazil, Bangalore, and London.We are a growing team of more than 400 passionate employees from more than 50 countries who share the same vision: to create a single tool to help send travellers almost anywhere in the world.As we continue expanding globally, we’re looking for a Director of Strategic Partnerships to drive the next wave of growth through high-impact supplier relationships with transport providers worldwide.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated and curious Junior Legal Counsel, ideally with some previous in-house experience or training at a tech or digital platform company or at an international law firm, and a strong interest in the travel tech and AI-driven innovation sector.As part of the Omio Legal & Compliance Department, you will collaborate closely with a variety of internal business stakeholders and report directly to the Director of Legal.You will support Omio’s continued growth, with a key focus on commercial, corporate and product-related legal matters worldwide. Your work will span multiple legal domains, including contract and corporate law, payments, compliance, and data protection. You will have the opportunity to learn across all areas of the business, understand complex operations, and contribute to the automation and optimisation of legal processes.Support senior members of the Legal team in the drafting, review, and negotiation of a wide range of agreements with third parties worldwide (e.g., NDAs, insertion orders, marketing, partnership, and commercial contracts), as well as in the development and maintenance of template agreements and Terms & Conditions.Provide proactive, business-oriented advice to internal stakeholders on new laws, regulations, or compliance developments affecting Omio’s operations across markets.Perform legal analysis under the supervision of more senior lawyers and support them by carrying legal research on more complex matters, and summarise legal concepts in business terms and potential courses of action that can be taken (e.g. new product launches, regulatory reviews);Coordinate certain legal processes, such as notarization of corporate documents, application and maintenance of business licenses in different jurisdictions, and completion of certain KYC processes. Assist in the corporate housekeeping of Omio group entities, including drafting corporate documentation and coordinating local filings.Support on privacy and data protection matters (GDPR and beyond), including reviewing data processing agreements and helping to maintain internal compliance registers.Collaborate on legal process improvement initiatives, including the integration of AI tools for contract review, regulatory monitoring, and risk assessment automation.QualificationsA law degree (fully qualified lawyer preferred or in process of qualification)1–2 years of relevant experience in-house or at an international law firm (ideally with tech, digital, or international exposure)Fluent in English and Portuguese; other languages are a plusCuriosity for how technology, AI, and automation can transform legal workWork effectively with cross-functional and remote teams in a collaborative manner and are able to perform and deliver results under pressureProactive, detail-oriented, team player and eager to learn in a fast-moving environmentStrong contractual drafting and analytical skills, combined with pragmatism and business senseAdditional InformationChecksAt Omio, we work in partnership with Giant Screening, once a job offer has been accepted, Giant will be engaged to carry out background screening.
