What if we focused not on who you are today, but who you could become? EY‑Parthenon’s Transaction Strategy & Execution (TSE) team is looking for a Junior M&A Consultant to join our Copenhagen office. In this role, you will apply your academic skills to real M&A projects while developing professionally alongside experienced consultants. EY‑Parthenon is a global strategy consultancy with over 9,000 professionals working across M&A, Value Creation, Transformation, and Growth Strategy, offering broad exposure and international collaborationThe role As part of TSE, you’ll help clients navigate the complexities of mergers and acquisitions through the development, evaluation, and execution of their transaction strategies. The team works with a wide range of stakeholders, from CEOs to functional leads, and project work varies significantly depending on the situation.You will support and advise clients on topics such as: Due diligence Day‑1 planning & operating modelling Post‑merger integration Value creation and synergy analysis Technology and system assessments As you grow, you can specialize in areas such as:Integration & DivestmentsSupporting operational aspects of M&A transactions, identifying synergies, and assisting with integration or carve‑out processes.Deal Strategy & Value CreationHelping clients reach strategic M&A goals by identifying cost‑saving opportunities and supporting implementation initiatives.TechnologyEvaluating software, supporting system integrations, and advising on technology‑driven value creation.You can learn more about the broader Strategy & Transactions team on our career page.“Starting as a JC gave me the rare opportunity to build real consulting experience from day one. Qualifications: Final‑year bachelor’s or first‑year master’s student in economics, finance, IT, business administration, engineering, or related fields. Proficient in written and spoken English.
