We are searching for our client, a global IT company, a Junior Network Engineer to join their business in Dresden, Germany.Position Title:Junior Network EngineerPosition Type12 months contractStart Date:ASAPLocation:Dresden, GermanyContact:Alen Lalić | +498923889853Key Responsibilities:1.Desktop Support:Provide on-site technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals in Chinese and EnglishInstall, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems and applicationsTroubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely resolution2.Network Administration:Debugging networks, managing server routine maintenanceSupport Network Core, Firewalls, Switches, Routers, VPNs, Wireless Access Points, and other associated network equipmentMonitor IT platform and network quality System, platform and network troubleshooting, tracking and detection, and assistance in testing and repairingMaintain all the infrastructure environment, including meeting room, server room, application system, IT platform, etc.Manage and maintain servers, network devices, and storage systemsMonitor system performance and implement performance tuning and optimizationRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldMinimum of 1 year of experience in IT support, with a focus on desktop and network administrationFamiliar with LinuxChinese and EnglishHigh level of commitment, initiative and independent work organizationIdeally, certifications in the network environment, similar to CCNA.Technical Skills:Familiar with LinuxCapable to manage server routine maintenanceDebugging networksBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferredGood organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks.Soft Skills:Learning capability: yes, willing to learn and growFeedback acceptance ability: open-minded to accept any feedback and improveConflict resolution ability: with a good attitude to deal with conflict with client or usersAble to work in a fast-paced environment and has problem-solving skills.
