The role involves close collaboration with farmers to ensure high-quality crop and seed production, data collection, and support for training and advisory programs under the guidance of the Training & Research Officer.Key Responsibilities Seed ProductionSupervise and monitor seed production activities to ensure quality, purity, and yield standards.Support farmers with field-level guidance throughout the production cycle — from sowing to post-harvest seed processing. Contract Farming (High-Value Crop Production)Coordinate and oversee high-value crop production under contract farming models for institutional and export purposes.Ensure production quality meets company and buyer requirements through regular field visits and monitoring. Research & DevelopmentAssist in conducting field trials on crop varieties, technologies, and improved production practices.Collect and analyze field data to support ongoing research and project improvement. Farmer Training & AdvisoryConduct training and provide technical advisory services to contract farmers on good agricultural practices and pest management.Prepare and disseminate training materials in coordination with the Training & Research Officer. Field Data Collection & ReportingMaintain accurate field records, data entries, and progress reports on production and research activities.Provide regular updates and reports to the Training & Research Officer. RequirementsEducational Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field from a recognized university.Experience1–2 years of experience in agricultural production, seed production, or contract farming will be preferred.Fresh graduates with strong field interest and technical knowledge are also encouraged to apply.Technical SkillsBasic knowledge of crop production, seed multiplication, and field trial procedures.Understanding of good agricultural practices (GAP), pest and disease management, and post-harvest handling.Ability to collect and record field data accurately.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and basic data entry/reporting tools.Other RequirementsStrong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with farmers and field teams.Willingness to travel frequently and work in rural/field environments.Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and within a team.Passionate about agriculture and rural development.Other BenefitsSalary Review: YearlyFestival Bonus: 2Group InsuranceMedical BenefitsApply ProcedureThink you're the one we're looking for?Send us your updated CV at career@ifarmer.asia with the subject line: "Junior Officer - Production".
