In our busy industry, we consistently manage a strong and steady backlog of work extending well beyond a year, which ensures a secure and reliable workflow.We are seeking a qualified intermediate panel technician to fill a permanent full-time position in our CSA certified Electrical Panel Shop. The successful candidate must be a team player and have technical experience in industrial electrical and control wiring. Please see our website link for an in-depth look at our facility and shop environment.Duties and responsibilities:Drilling holes and mounting equipment on enclosures and back panels as per the general arrangementsWire an electrical panel following a basic set of electrical schematicsReview bill of materials for accuracy and flag any errors immediatelyAdhere to safety protocols and maintain a high standard of conduct in the shopInput weekly timesheets accurately and in a timely mannerSafety and conduct in the shopMaintaining a clean and safe working environmentOccasional field site work and associated travel as requiredOther assigned duties as requiredRequirementsQualifications:Education:High School diploma or equivalentExperience: Basic understanding of hand and power toolsBenefitsIndustry Leading Compensation Packages: AWC has developed a competitive compensation package for each position that rewards employees for hard work and results.
