This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to gain hands-on experience in project management.ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functional project teams in delivering custom development solutions or managing application maintenance and support.Ensure project completion within the specified scope, cost, and timeline while meeting business requirements and contractual obligations.Manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements, including IBM, client employees, and third-party vendors.Establish effective communication plans, deliver regular project status updates to stakeholders, and ensure successful project outcomes.Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging open communication and continuous improvementAssisting with resource management activities, including onboarding, offboarding, and general team coordination and logisticsFacilitating sessions and meetings within the account, including attending key discussions, capturing progress updates, and drafting reportsOrganising and supporting events at the Leicester base, including managing room bookings and contributing to location-based initiativesSupporting both local and broader Borders & Trade initiatives, fostering collaboration across teamsContributing to the coordination and successful delivery of project milestones and governance activities, including regular reportingDeveloping a basic understanding of project commercials (Fixed Price / T&M) and assisting with forecast updatesFacilitating collaboration between the account and wider Welfare, Tax, and Customs teams to ensure alignment and delivery continuityThis is a hands-on role that blends operational support with the opportunity to develop practical delivery experiencePreferred EducationBachelor's DegreeRequired Technical And Professional ExpertiseStrong organisational skills – Able to manage tasks coordinate logistics and keep things running smoothly across teams and locations.Good communication – Comfortable speaking with others and writing clearly whether it’s in meetings reports or day-to-day conversations.Team player – Works well with others and supports team goals helping to build a positive and collaborative working environment.Proactive mindset – Takes initiative spots opportunities to help and follows through without needing to be asked.Eagerness to learn – Keen to build new skills take on feedback and grow in areas like project management and team coordination.Reliable and adaptable – Stays on top of responsibilities adapts to change and handleAs an equal opportunities’ employer, we welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
