Job Description

Role OverviewAs a Junior Procurement Specialist, you will be the technical backbone of our Procurement Team. Your mission is to translate engineering requirements into commercial reality. You will work closely with our technical departments to understand what we need and then scour the market to find the best vendors to provide it. This is a role for a "numbers person" who also understands how things are built.Key ResponsibilitiesSourcing & Vendor Discovery: Use your engineering background to identify and vet new suppliers who meet our high technical standards. The Bridge: Act as the primary liaison between our internal Engineering team and external vendors to ensure technical specifications are 100% understood.Request for Quotation (RFQ) Management: Prepare and manage RFQ packages, analyzing complex bids not just on price, but on technical merit and lead times.Commercial Support: Assist senior team members in contract negotiations and the development of Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Supplier Performance: Monitor and report on vendor performance, ensuring they hit their quality and delivery milestones.Market Research: Stay updated on commodity price trends and new manufacturing technologies that could save the company money.Requirements & QualificationsEducation: A fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Civil).Language: Fluent English is a must. You will be communicating with international partners and must be able to draft professional emails and participate in meetings with confidence.Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, or Bill of Materials (BOM).Analytical Mindset: You enjoy spreadsheets and data. If you can spot a discrepancy in a 200-line item quote, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.Communication: The ability to explain a complex technical problem in simple terms.Preferred SkillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Data analysis is a core part of this role).Exposure to ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle) is a bonus, but we are happy to train the right candidate.A natural curiosity for how businesses make money and how global markets function. Why Join Our Procurement Team? You won’t be stuck in a silo. You will have a "front-row seat" to the business side of engineering, learning how to negotiate, how to manage global risk, and how to drive value through smart technical sourcing.A Peer's Perspective: Why Engineering? The biggest hurdle for most procurement professionals is the "Technical Wall"—they don't know why a specific grade of steel or a certain tolerance matters. By hiring an engineer, you're removing that wall. They can challenge a supplier’s high price by understanding the manufacturing process involved. Please, send your resume in English.
