If so, we are confident you will thrive as our Junior Product Manager at ABENA!As a Junior Product Manager, you will become a central part of our purchasing organization with a clear goal: to increase revenue and profitability across our global markets through the right products, pricing, and partnerships. The role offers an international work environment where you’ll be given responsibility, development opportunities, and support to grow professionally.Once you have settled into your new role as Junior Product Manager, you will work closely with the Global Category Manager and eventually become responsible for supporting and developing our subsidiaries, with a focus on markets that show great potential but where we have yet to establish a strong position. As you develop, you will take on more responsibility, including leading your own projects and contributing to product strategy. You will work towards becoming the primary contact and advisor, helping to build a standardized and competitive product range that drives growth and improves purchasing conditions.Success in this role requires the ability to see the greater picture and not get bogged down in unnecessary details, which do not create value for the team nor the organization. The role demands high adaptability and decisiveness in an environment where changes happen quickly and decisions must be made with both overview and speed.Your main responsibilitiesAct as a point of contact for selected countries/subsidiariesAssist countries in building and optimizing assortments and preparing offers that strengthen sales and profitabilityCollaborate closely with local organizations to identify growth opportunities and develop product categoriesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including negotiating prices and termsSource new suppliers and products in close alignment with market needsEnsure that products meet requirements for quality, price, compliance, and brand strategyCollaborate with internal departments in ABENA such as Sales, Warehouse, Quality, Compliance, and Marketing to create optimal solutionsWhat We Hope You Bring to the TableIdeally, you have 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role or perhaps you are a recent graduate with a master’s degree in Business Development, International Business, Supply Chain or Purchasing ManagementUnderstand the connection between product, price, quality, and profitAre analytical but also strong in building relationships.
