Job SummaryThe Junior Product Owner supports the product management team in defining, prioritizing, and delivering features that enhance the customer experience and achieve business goals. Working closely with senior product owners, developers, and stakeholders, this role helps manage the product backlog, write user stories, and ensure smooth execution of Agile development cycles. This position is ideal for individuals looking to build their expertise in product ownership, Agile processes, and cross-functional collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Backlog SupportAssist in maintaining and organizing the product backlog.Support prioritization of features, enhancements, and bug fixes under the guidance of the Senior Product Owner or Product Manager.Help refine backlog items to ensure clarity and readiness for development.User Story and Requirement DocumentationDraft clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.Gather and document business and user requirements from stakeholders.Ensure stories align with overall product vision and objectives.Sprint ParticipationParticipate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.Provide clarifications to the development team on assigned user stories.Track progress of deliverables and help resolve minor blockers or issues.Stakeholder CommunicationCoordinate with internal stakeholders to gather feedback and share product updates.Support reporting of product progress and performance metrics.Ensure product documentation and updates are properly maintained.Product Research and AnalysisConduct basic research on user needs, market trends, and competitor products.Assist in analyzing product performance data to inform future improvements.Contribute ideas to improve the product roadmap and user experience.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.1–3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, project coordination, or a related role.Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and product development life cycles.Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.Ability to translate user needs into actionable requirements.Experience with tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar is an advantage.
