Junior React Native Developer

In a nutshellAt Picnic, we use React Native to provide an innovative service to our customers through our mobile app. Quality is our top priority, so we use TypeScript in our server-driven UI framework as well as our frontend code.In this role, in addition to working with React Native daily you'll be working with our powerful server-driven UI framework that's at the heart of our business's success:Powers our entire shopping app and enables rapid iterationsDrives sophisticated personalization at scale, delivering tailored content to each userEmpowers our business teams to operate the store autonomously - dozens of operators and analysts make every day real-time updates without any further tech involvementYou can expect to work with a wide range of technologies within the JavaScript ecosystem, across the full stack!Tricks of the tradeGrowth: Learn to collaborate with cross-functional teams across the entire business, get to work on increasingly challenging tasks and projects, and have ownership over your contributionsContribution: Work on our customer facing Picnic store, implementing new features on a daily basis, contribute to our React Native architecture and server-driven UI frameworkCollaboration: Collaborate with designers and product owners to create specifications for new features Our Tech: TypeScript and RxJS, React Native, Redux, Styled Components, Jest, StorybookWe’re looking forYou have (or will soon have) a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or related technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience2+ years of full-time software development, and have worked with React, React Native, Typescript, or similar JavaScript frameworksEnthusiasm to work with a variety of technologies and a problem-solving mindsetHands-on experience with (unit) testingExperience working in a product-based company is a nice to haveThe willingness and flexibility to take feedback and learn from other developersPicnic Perks✍🏼Every expert was once a beginner!
