The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. If you're interviewing for this role, your recruiter will share more about the in-office requirements.Our employees in Poland are employed under a contract of employment.What you’ll achieveProduce high-quality design and code to build our featuresDrive impactful projects from inception to completion within Asana, balancing engineering craftsmanship, execution, and stakeholder alignmentUtilize strong accountability, self-motivation, and collaborative skills to deliver results efficiently Promote solid engineering and operational practices through code reviews and mentorshipSupport design reviews, communicate constraints, and assist engineers in making informed trade-offsContribute to and strategize the future of our productAbout YouGraduate of a Technical University in Computer Science or related fields, like Mathematics, Physics etc.1+ years of experience in software engineering (either commercial or gained through internships)Experience with relational and non-relational databases, familiarity with AWSExcellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional partners (e.g. PM, design) and cross-timezone with partner teamsSound autonomous judgment when balancing moving quickly with producing quality, long-term maintainable codeDemonstrated curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-makingAt Asana, we're committed to building teams that include a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills, as this is critical to helping us achieve our mission. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity and sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
