iFIT’s vision is to create the world's most holistic health and fitness platform, integrating all elements of health - physical fitness, mental health, nutrition and active recovery - into a seamless interactive experience. We develop proprietary software that learns and adjusts to the habits of each person as it delivers immersive content that guides them on their own individual fitness journey.We are currently seeking an ambitious pace-setter to join our team as a Jr UX Researcher, hybrid in Logan, Utah, or remote. COMPENSATION$50,000-80,000ROLE COMMITMENTS Drive the creation of user-first product experiences by conducting usability tests, interviews, and iterative research that directly shapes product outcomes.Synthesize research data into clear, compelling insights and narratives that inform product strategy, influence design decisions, and support business goals.Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define research objectives, advocate for user needs, and ensure alignment across teams.Champion best practices in UX research methodologies, ethics, and data privacy while continuously refining processes, tools, and workflows for greater team efficiency.Act as a consistent voice for diverse users throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that iFIT delivers engaging, inclusive, and impactful fitness and wellness experiences.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESManage and Conduct Rapid Iterative Design Testing:Usability Testing: Drive the planning, execution, and analysis of rapid, iterative usability tests for both new designs and existing products.Research Methods: Select and apply the most effective research methods (moderated and unmoderated) to generate user insights and answer critical business questions.Project Management: Manage end-to-end research projects, including recruitment, scheduling, moderation, data analysis, and reporting in a timely manner.Synthesize and Analyze Data:Data Synthesis: Collect, analyze, and synthesize qualitative data to pinpoint user needs, pain points, and motivations.Actionable Insights: Distill research data into key patterns, themes, and actionable insights that guide product strategy and design execution.Storytelling: Communicate research findings through clear and compelling narratives to inform cross-functional stakeholders.Communicate and Present Findings:Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate research findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders, including product managers, designers, engineers.Research Deliverables: Create compelling presentations, reports, and artifacts (e.g., user personas, journey maps, experience flows) that illustrate research insights.Strategic Impact and Collaboration:Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and other cross-functional teams to define research objectives for each studyUser Advocacy: Champion user experience within the organization, advocating for the user at all stages of the product development lifecycle.Best Practices:Process Improvement: Actively contribute to improving the research team’s operational efficiency by refining workflows, tools, and documentationResearch Excellence: Promote and evangelize best practices in UX research methodologies, ethics, and data privacy.Participant Recruitment and Management:Recruitment Strategy: Co-develop robust recruitment strategies and screeners to ensure the participation of relevant and diverse user segments.Participant Management: Handle participant incentives and maintain ethical research practices related to data privacy and consent.Tool Proficiency:Familiarity with various research tools (e.g., user testing platforms, survey software, qualitative analysis tools, collaboration tools).EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEEducation and Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a cognitive science field with 2+ years of research expereience OR 3+ years of equivalance expereience in a similar design field.Basic knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative research methods Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in HCI, Psychology, or a cognitive science field with 1+ year of industry research experiencePay Range: : $50,000 USD - $80,000 USDDISCLAIMERCompensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan, and exemption status.
