Join our team and take a seat for our coffee's journey!We are currently recruiting for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Specialist to join our HR team and support the seamless execution of our payroll process. You'll work closely with our external payroll provider, manage HR data integrity, and oversee time-off tracking, all while ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and internal policies. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison between the company and the external payroll provider to ensure timely and accurate payroll administration Prepare, review, and submit accurate payroll data, verifying employee information, tax withholdings, and other compensation details Maintain HR system data integrity, including new hire information, salary adjustments, vacation accruals, and leave of absence records Monitor and track vacation days, sick leave, and other time-off balances, ensuring they align with company policy and employee agreements Manage compliance with labor laws and workplace safety requirements related to payroll Respond to payroll inquiries and troubleshoot discrepancies related to pay and time-off accruals Maintain HR records and ensure audit readiness by keeping accurate and up-to-date documentation of all payroll and HR transactions Manage ERGANI system Generate reports for HR, Finance, and management as required, and support data collection for internal and external audits Recommend process improvements to enhance data accuracy, compliance, and payroll efficiencyRequirements BSc/BA in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field 2+ years of experience as a payroll specialist or in a similar role working with an external payroll service Strong knowledge of payroll processes, wage and hour laws, tax requirements, and compliance standards Experience working with HRIS/HR systems and timekeeping tools Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with HR/payroll software Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills
