Job DescriptionDrive the development and maintenance of Safety Requirement Specifications (SRS)Lead and participate in HAZOP reviews, SIL Determination, and Functional Safety Assessments (FSA)Design, validate, and oversee Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) in line with IEC 61508/61511 standardsPrepare and manage key safety lifecycle documentation, from validation plans to proof test protocolsSupport instrumentation and control engineers with implementation and verification of safety functionsConduct detailed cybersecurity risk assessments and implement robust controls based on IEC 62443Collaborate with control system integrators to ensure secure, standards-compliant designContribute to audits, regulatory processes, and the ongoing improvement of safety and cybersecurity procedures Qualifications5+ years of hands-on experience in Functional Safety and Cybersecurity within the energy or process industriesTĂV Rheinland Functional Safety certification and ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert credentialsStrong command of IEC 61508, 61511, and 62443 standardsSolid skills in MS Office, CAE tools like COMOS, and a sharp eye for quality assuranceAnalytical thinker with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and solid decision-making under pressureAble to work independently and handle high-stress situations with confidenceFluent in English; knowledge of German or other languages is a plusBonus if you bring commissioning experience, ExSILentia know-how, or project management skillsAdditional InformationAnnual performance reviews and bonus awardsPension scheme, life insurance and disability insuranceInclusive, values led cultureResponsibility and challenge within multi discipline field of activitiesTeam-oriented working atmosphere in an international CompanyTailored learning and development opportunitiesCareer path optionsFor HR agencies:
