The Northwest Research-Extension Center farm production team isresponsible for performing all common agronomic tasks associated withcrop production, including, but not limited to pesticide application,tillage, planting, irrigation, and harvesting.
Worksite OptionsThis role is expected to be performed on-site 5 days/week with weekendsvarying during certain times of the year such as the growing season andharvest. **What You\'ll Need to Succeed: **Minimum Qualifications One year of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications BS degree preferred plus three years\' experience in large-scalefarming operations. Vocational training in the safe and proper use of pesticides wouldbe highly desirable. Ability to drive large and small farm equipment safely andskillfully. Other Requirements Valid driver\'s license that permits incumbent to operateautomobiles, pickup trucks, and farm trucks having standard orautomatic transmissions.
Certified, \[or\] capable and willing to become certified in theapplication of restricted-use pesticides on crops within the first 6months of employment.
