In 2019, KARL LAGERFELD joined as a founding member of the Fashion Pact, a global sustainability initiative seeking to transform the fashion industry through objectives in three areas: climate, biodiversity and ocean protection. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The Junior Graphic Designer , will deliver the best quality, creative work on time and on budget, under the guidance of the Senior Art Director and Graphic designer. As this is a very hands-on role, you’re a responsible team player and can be relied upon as the ‘go to’ person for the graphics output within the Marketing department.

Having experience in an advertising agency/design studio or in-house marketing team, you fully understand the importance of design production and final artwork preparation within a creative environment. This role needs a pro-active Graphic Designer with experience to produce compelling ideas and execution across creative design, retail, animation, illustration. An experience working with still and moving imagery material is a bonus. A keen eye on detail and typography is also needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE: Act as brand guardian, upholding the seasonal campaign direction through all marketing activities. You’ll convey the brand vision and ensure the visual aesthetic and tone-of-voice are consistently communicated across all touch points. Roll-out of campaign materials, these include cropping guidelines, roll-out decks and final asset designs. Create digital and print marketing materials including but not limited to:

Printed invites, evites, GIF and static content for newsletters, POS material, Advertorials, Advertising, OOH, giveaways, gift with purchases, direct mail campaigns and additional collateral where neededResearch and benchmarkingDevelop ideas which are on-brand and own creative projects and preparing all assets to a final artwork stage. Manage dedicated and set small scale projects independentlySKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Formal Training in Graphic Design with a Bachelors orMaster’s degree preferably from a design or art school1-3 years experience in working in an design or an in-house agency Strong typographic skills and sensitivity in working with imagery Able to translate a master layout into different formatsDemonstrate graphic design skills and strong portfolioProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and MS Office software suitesAnimation experience a plusExperience within fashion in the premium or luxury sector preferableAble to present own work and take in feedback constructivelyLanguage:

fluent in English, both verbal and written and ideally French and or German speakingPROFILE:
