Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to oversee transport-related financial operations in Accra. This role ensures timely payment processing, accurate data management in the Transport Management System (TMS), and compliance with financial controls for domestic and cross-border transactions. Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor the Payment Request Tracking Form daily, ensuring payments are processed within 3 days (domestic) or 7 days (cross-border). Verify timeliness and accuracy of the Dump Basic Data Sheet and Distribution Basic Data Sheet. Maintain and update carrier information in TMS; set system alerts for receipt uploads. Track and resolve discrepancies identified in the Payment Request Tracking Table.
Regularly update TMS operation time points and optimize system workflows. Collaborate with transport and finance teams to streamline payment processes. Ensure adherence to company policies and local financial regulations. Generate periodic reports on payment statuses and system performance. Qualifications and SkillsMasters in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years in accounting/finance, preferably in transport/logistics. Proficiency in TMS or similar ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills for data analysis. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under tight deadlines. Fluency in English; knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
