Legal Counsel

We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to oversee our commercial agreements, regulatory compliance, and legal operations in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. This role is pivotal in managing negotiations with vendors and business partners, ensuring compliance with defense industry regulations, and supporting procurement and supply chain processes. Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts with vendors, suppliers, and strategic partners. Ensure regulatory compliance, including export control (ITAR, EAR) and defense industry standards. Manage legal aspects of procurement and supply chain, including agreements with manufacturers for both custom and off-the-shelf products.

Provide legal support for international transactions, including end-user certificates and licensing approvals. Work closely with the supply chain manager to navigate complex vendor agreements, particularly for technology development and specialized services. Oversee risk assessment and advise on legal implications of business operations, procurement strategies, and international engagements. Requirements: 6+ years of legal experience, with a strong focus on commercial contracts Understanding of procurement and supply chain legal frameworks, including licensing and import/export compliance. Familiarity with export control regulations and industrial security compliance - an advantage. Prior experience in the defense industry - an advantage.

Ability to work cross-functionally with business, operations, and procurement teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Fluent in English, must be able to draft and negotiate contracts at a professional level. The most important requirement is to be someone who enables things rather than someone who raises flags and risks.
