Job Description/RequirementsCompany DescriptionPulsaris Design is an interior design, fit-out, and renovation company headquartered in Mombasa, Kenya. We pride ourselves in providing functional and sophisticated solutions for commercial, corporate, and residential spaces. From assisting individuals with basic design concepts to offering turnkey solutions for companies, we manage projects from concept to complete installation. Our designs illuminate interior and industrial spaces with creativity and zero tolerance for mediocrity. Role DescriptionThis is an internship role for an Interior Design Intern. The intern will assist with space planning, design development, and selecting and specifying furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
Key responsibilities include supporting project teams in site surveys, drafting space plans and other drawings, creating realistic 3D renders, communicating with suppliers, and site supervision. This is a hybrid role, which means the position is based in Mombasa with some work-from-home opportunities within the town.
QualificationsCurrently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or a related fieldExcellent knowledge of interior design principlesProficiency in drafting and rendering softwareStrong communication skillsAbility to create realistic 3D rendersAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentOrganized and proactivePassionate about interior designProficiency in Microsoft Office toolsExcellent attention to detailDurationThe program runs for three months with the possibility of transitioning into a fully paid role within the company. Working HoursMonday to Friday from 8: 00 AM to 5: 00 PM. Saturday from 8: 00 AM to 1: 00 PM.
