Key Account Manager - Automotive ElectronicsRef: KA46877A Japanese manufacturer in Almere is seeking a Key Account Manager to drive business growth, develop client relationships, and manage relationships with existing clients in the automotive industry.The role requires strong commercial skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work in an international environment. The role requires you to have frequent business trips within Europe, approximately once a week. The company may consider sponsoring visas for especially well-suited candidates.TYPE: 1 year contract, but the aim is long-term employmentWORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:30 (30 minutes lunch break)SALARY: €60k - €90k (including the holiday allowance) depending on experience + Performance-based bonus maximum 10%START: ASAPLOCATION: Almere (Hybrid, WFH 3 days a week possible after the training)BENEFITS: transportation fee, company car (optional), and other benefitsKey Account Manager - Automotive Electronics Main Responsibilities:Business Development: Actively identify, pursue, and secure new key accounts while expanding business with existing clients across Europe.Project Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer projects, leading them from the initial stages to the start of mass production by collaborating with our global teams.Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate deep relationships with key accounts and prospects to uncover new opportunities for both horizontal and vertical business expansion.Market Presence: Travel frequently (25-35%) to meet with customers and prospects, promoting our cutting-edge products and services.Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales budgets, monitor your progress, and build a healthy project pipeline to ensure sustainable long-term growth.Negotiation: Conduct annual negotiations on pricing and business conditions.Global Collaboration: Work closely with overseas affiliates, providing periodic reports and addressing a variety of cross-functional issues.Key Account Manager - Automotive Electronics Ideal Candidate:Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in manufacturing or B2B salesElectronics, mechanical engineering, or a similar technical field is beneficialA proactive, results-driven individual (hunter mentality) with a hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a multicultural environmentFluent in English (Japanese, German and other European language is a plus)Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, or a related fieldStrong negotiation and communication skillsAbility to develop long-term relationships with clientsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM systemsGoal-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
