With our products on shelves in over 60 countries, we’re proud to bring fans closer to the stories and characters they love.Our mission is simple: to deliver fun, innovative, and high-quality toys that spark imagination and play.Main purpose of the roleAs a Key Account Manager – Nordics (preferably based in Aarhus), you will work within our busy sales team, supporting the Nordics business across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. This is an exciting opportunity to manage relationships with leading retailers, build commercial strategies, and work with some of the most iconic global entertainment brands alongside our strong Jakks-owned IP portfolio.Relationships are key to the success of this role, which requires collaborative working internally with sales, marketing, and operations teams, and externally with our retail partners. You will also liaise closely with our international colleagues to maximize opportunities across product, marketing, and sales.This role will involve some international travel to attend trade shows and customer meetings as required.Toy industry experience is a must.Key duties and responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)• Manage and grow existing retail and distribution partnerships within the Nordic region.• Support the implementation of strategic account plans to drive sales and increase market share.• Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and product teams to ensure seamless product launches and campaigns.• Liaise with global US brand teams and local EMEA markets on sales, marketing, and licensing initiatives.• Assist in the creation of customer-specific sales plans, activations, and promotional campaigns.• Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and sales data to identify opportunities for growth.• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to communicate performance and strategies.• Participate in regular account reviews, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer expectations.• Opportunity for travel across the Nordics and internationally for key meetings, previews, and trade events.Key performance indicators• Achievement of sales targets and profitability.• Strong customer satisfaction and long-term partnership development.• Effective execution of sales and marketing activations in line with Jakks and licensor objectives.• Positive brand reputation maintained with partners and retailers.Education and experience• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field.• 2–4 years of experience in sales, account management, or related roles, preferably within consumer goods, toys, or entertainment industries.• Confident with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).• Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.Behavioural capabilities • Strong project and account management skills.• High attention to detail with strong organizational ability.• Professional and confident presenter.• Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration as part of a wider team.• Results-driven, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced international environment.Application: mjepsen@jakks.netLocation: Aarhus, DenmarkInterviews are conducted on an ongoing basis until we find the right candidate.
