Join our team as we transform the lives of others.Position Summary:The Key Account Manager (KAM) will generate sales of Crinetics products within the defined territory to a level that meets and/or exceeds objectives through effective and persuasive execution of the marketing plan, with a primary focus on maximizing product sales by effectively communicating the value proposition of the Endocrinology portfolio to relevant stakeholders. This role is responsible for targeting and promoting Crinetics' therapeutic products to endocrinologists, and other healthcare providers, with the goal of driving business growth and achieving the company's objectives.Manages time and territory to ensure maximum results. Stays current on Crinetics and competitive product information to be a valuable resource to our customers. The Key Account Manager will analyze the available territory data to identify opportunities. Communicates routinely with peers, management and marketing concerning opportunities and recommendations to increase market share and sales. Closely follows all applicable laws and regulations that govern Crinetics and the pharmaceutical industry.Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:These may include but are not limited to:Attain or exceed assigned sales and profit goals.Develop and execute a strategic business / account plan for a wide geographical area to effectively target, penetrate, and establish a network of relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders.Develop and analyze territory reports to identify opportunities to increase sales of Crinetics’ products. Implement plans to address opportunities.Deliver the product messages in an accurate and persuasive manner that is consistent with the marketing plan and results in utilization of Crinetics’ products.Effectively call on physicians, endocrine nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, etc., across multiple medical subspecialties.Continually update knowledge of Crinetics and competitive products to act as a resource to customers.Complete administrative duties as required in an accurate and timely manner. Stay within expense guidelines & assigned budgets.Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations that govern Crinetics and the pharmaceutical industry.Other duties as assigned.Education and Experience:Required:Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or Healthcare Industry sales experienceAbility to work independently and manage key account relationshipsDemonstrated growth in sales while managing your own territoryDocumented track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goalsExperience working with Marketing, Commercial Operations, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and other cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.Business acumen and strong comprehension of difficult clinical informationAbility to articulate complex clinical messages to Healthcare Providers in real time situationsThe ability to independently manage multiple deliverables and adapt to shifting priorities with strong skills in project management, collaboration and communication will be key to success.Excellent organization and time management skillsOutstanding oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and virtual engagement skillsIndependent, with an ability to work within a teamAttention to detail and follow-throughProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)Excellent command of German and EnglishEndocrinology Experience is preferredTravel:You may be required to travel for up to 70% of your time.Equal Opportunity Employer: Crinetics is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
