About the company: We are helping our client, an established cargo and ground handling services provider with over 25 years of experience in the international air cargo market. The company partners with leading airlines and logistics organizations, delivering compliant, performance-driven handling solutions. It continues to expand its commercial footprint and strengthen its position within the European cargo sector.About the role:The Key Account Manager reports directly to the CEO and acts as the main commercial driver for key accounts. The role involves growing existing accounts, generating new business opportunities, and building senior-level relationships with airlines and logistics partners worldwide. The Key Account Manager manages approximately 10–15 strategic customers while contributing directly to revenue growth, volume expansion, and profitability.Responsibilities: Key Account Management:Manage and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as their main point of contact.Lead prospecting efforts and personally conduct face-to-face or virtual meetings with potential key customers during the early sales phase.Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive follow-up and qualitative service management.Analyse customer needs, expectations, and feedback, and propose viable solutions to requests or complaints.Prepare reports and recommendations for management based on customer insights.Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.Business Development & Growth:Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities with airlines and other commercial partners.Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue, turnover, and profitability objectives.Promote the company’s services and expand its network.Analyse sales performance and market data to identify improvement areas and growth opportunities.Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers and partners.Internal Collaboration & Compliance:Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing initiatives and operational execution.Work closely with management to align customer needs with company objectives.Support CEIV-related activities (Pharma, Live Animals, Lithium Batteries) in line with SOPs and SLAs.Requirements3+ years of experience in Key Account Management and/or Business Development within an international air cargo or logistics environment.Experience working with airlines, freight forwarders, or other commercial partners, with a proven track record in revenue growth, contract negotiation, and customer relationship management.Familiarity with CEIV standards (Pharma, Live Animals, Lithium Batteries) and regulated cargo operations.Strong prospecting, negotiation, and analytical skills to drive business development and account growth.Fluent English; French is considered a strong asset.
