Legal & Compliance Officer oversees the legal and compliance aspects of Kia Slovakia subsidiary, to safeguard the reputation and integrity of the company and the compliance of the company with the relevant legal regulations and guidelines. You will collaborate with the legal & compliance teams of Kia EU and/or Kia HQ to perform the mission.
Be the interface between local management/business and the Kia EU Legal & Compliance regarding all legal and compliance related matters. Actively collaborate with the Kia EU Legal & Compliance to coordinate legal and compliance related programs and initiativesAttend the Pan-European monthly alignment callsCollect local legal and compliance consulting requests and either directly handle these matters with local external counsel or collaborate with Kia EU Legal & ComplianceSupport Pan-European or local investigations and litigations (derived from investigations)Support Pan-European projects (legal, compliance, privacy & IT) e. g, provide contract templates, communicate with local management and business departments, answer questions from different stakeholders.
Support in Legal and Compliance trainings for the local stakeholdersMaintain contract-related documents and correspondence within Kia's Management Contract Database Legis waySupport the communication between local external counsel and DPO and internal departments of KSKMonitor and manage local litigation cases and provide the quarterly Litigation Report to Kia EU.
Support of the implementation of (compliance) policiesESG Reporting for KSKCoordination of data collection for ESGSecurity Officer performing tasks based on the results of HQ Security auditImplementation of all new rules in HQ Security documents and creation of a new control system that will be demonstrable in the next audit mainly in fields of human rights and greenwashing.
Reviewing the systems set up and operating at KSK for compliance - prevention - and adjusting them if necessaryCreation of protocols to facilitate decision making/work so that it is clear that individual actions are compliant with compliance and create procedures that practically reflect implemented compliance policiesCoordination and creation of GDPR overview in cooperation with DPORegular training on practical tips especially in the area of competition law, anti – bribery and anti-corruption areaOther activities according to direction of the managementRequirements for the employeeCandidates with education suit the positionUniversity education (Master's degree)Language skillsEnglish - Upper intermediate (B2) and Slovak - Proficiency (C2)Driving licenceBExperience in the position/sector3 years+ in an international work environment, preferably automotive, or technology companyPersonality requirements and skills3 years+ in an international work environment, preferably automotive, or technology company background.
