WHAT WILL YOU DO?As champion of the online channel, you will play a huge role in the growth of our brand across all ecommerce platforms. You will build relationships with our consumers through different touchpoints, always putting a consumer journey mindset at the front of what you do. You will build a marketing and commercial strategy for our brand website and online marketplaces. You will leverage insights to optimize the brand’s digital communication and implement campaigns to achieve the targeted growth.

Now for the deets: ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary business unit lead of the ecommerce channel, accountable for omnichannel business, including DTC and online marketplaces. Build and lead an ecommerce sales and marketing strategy for Kicking Horse Coffee that supports growth targets for North America across our digital shelf. Optimize structure of ecommerce go-to-market model, including promotional planning, profitability, fulfillment, and logistics.

Leverage data-driven insights and KPls to optimize traffic, conversions, and overall performance across paid, organic, and eCommerce operations ensuring continuous growth and brand elevation. Identify trends and product requirements, evaluate processes, and recommend programs that generate new avenues of opportunity. Oversee catalog management, ensuring continual improvement and accurate maintenance. Define the optimal product portfolio and catalog mix across online channels and routes-to-market (RTM). Analyze consumer needs and competitive offerings to provide direction on best practices and emerging trends to enhance consumer experience. Collaborate with the Demand Team to improve accuracy in demand forecasting.

Contribute to developing the consumer journey strategy and roadmap, driving performance beyond sales-only experience to grow loyalty. Manage our branded DTC storefront and associated execution platforms. Drive profitable growth and optimize ROI (i. e. ROAS) through partnership with marketing team to execute search and performance marketing strategies. Understand customer strategies and build differentiated joint business plans aligned with shared goals. Implement a robust subscription and retention model to enhance customer lifetime value. QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing, or a related field is an ASS-et.

2-4 years of direct e-commerce management experience with DTC models, with additional commercial sales experience an ASS-et. Demonstrated success driving growth on marketplaces such as Amazon. ca, Amazon. com and Shopify. Bezos move aside, there’s a new e-commerce sheriff in town. Knowledge of digital marketing analytics such as SEO, SEM, Display and Social. Ability to utilize Shopify analytics, Google AdWords, and webmaster tools. You can analyze web statistics and advertising ROI data to identify opportunities to improve and accelerate ecommerce sales growth.

Experience with ecommerce platforms, site design principles, content management tools, functionality, integration with back-end systems and best practices. This is a full-time, permanent position, based on 40 hours per week with key collaboration hours of 9am-3pm MT. The successful candidate must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
