Job Description

Job Title: HQ (Headquarters) Trainer FLSA Status: ExemptTravel: Heavy 50-75%The HQ Trainer supports KidStrong Centers across the nation in training and encouraging brand standards. This position will work closely with the Training and Operations Teams to train and maintain standards created by KidStrong, Inc. The HQ Trainer is responsible for delivering excellent training, as well as helping Centers learn how to develop a world class leadership and coaching team. As a key member of the training team, this role will play a critical part in helping build future KidStrong franchisee coaching, operations and leadership teams.

HQ Trainers are responsible for maintaining company standards for how KidStrong Centers should operate. This position is also responsible for protecting our culture and delivering on operations goals. Key ResponsibilitiesTravel & Train KidStrong Centers:

Travel the USA and Canada, leading KidStrong Coaching Certifications and grand openings of KidStrong centersWork with the KidStrong HQ Team and Area Developers on franchisee training and coaching protocolsThis role is approximately 50-75% travel for 24 to 36 KidStrong Coach certifications per year, traveling as often as 15-20 days per monthAssist and/or lead in Training and Certifications for Franchise Leadership, Area Trainers and Area Developer teams Continuously evaluate and improve the training experienceTransfer Knowledge And Live KidStrong CultureThis role has a deep understanding and experience in coaching athletics, kids and/or adult fitness, teaching and/or fitness training including operational processes & commonly used software applications in a training facilityEnsure continuous improvement and innovation, demonstrating the ability to maintain high standards in line with the company’s core values and beliefsFocus on creating an amazing experience across all locations in the regionParticipate In Content Development & FacilitationHelp design training tools and guidelines to support all areas of the center, including leadership, coaching, operations, customer service and systemsWork closely with the KidStrong Programming and Curriculum and Franchise Operations team in order to provide the most effective and up to date training, programming and curriculumComplete assigned projects in a timely mannerEnforce all safety procedures and required certificationsOther duties as assignedRequirements & Qualifications2+ years of experience in training, operations, and coaching A passion for kid-focused training, fitness, teaching, and customer relationsExperience presenting to large audiencesAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesAbility to travel the USA and Canada on a consistent basis Strong trainer/coachKidStrong DNA / CompetenciesTo be a strong culture fit, you should embody the following characteristics:
