About The Role👋As the CTO at Kindly, you will be part of the Management Team and responsible for all aspects of Kindly’s technology and product architecture.
You’ll lead our engineering, DevOps, and AI/ML teams consisting of 20+ people in Oslo, while working closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure we deliver robust, scalable, and innovative solutions. This is both a strategic and operational role. You'll drive the technical vision but also explore architecture decisions, security, platform scalability, and team structure.
What you’ll be doing 📋As a CTO, Your Job Will Be ToDefine and execute the long-term technology roadmap aligned with business goalsLead and scale a distributed team of software engineers, AI specialists, and technical leadersEnsure our platform is scalable, secure, and reliable for enterprise customers across Europe while laying the foundation for global growthDrive our AI strategy, integrating LLMs and automation into customer-facing use casesCollaborate with Product to accelerate feature delivery and innovationOwn the technical hiring strategy, processes, and team cultureRepresent Kindly’s tech strategy to key customers, partners, investors, and the boardStay close to architecture and implementation to ensure technical excellenceChampion agile practices, continuous delivery, and a strong DevOps mindsetEvolve Kindly into a fully agentic platform, using technologies like MCP, ML, and LLMsWho you are 🏌️You have led engineering or product teams in a scaling B2B SaaS companyStrong technical background—ideally hands-on at some point—with experience in building cloud-native, API-first platformsExperience working with AI/ML or LLM-driven products is a big plusYou’ve scaled systems, teams, and infrastructure to meet enterprise-grade reliability and securityCollaborative and pragmatic—you balance product velocity with long-term architectureYou lead with empathy and clarity, and are comfortable coaching teams through growth and changeYou’re comfortable in an international environment and fluent in EnglishBonus:
