Job Description

This team was built on trust. Not the kind you find in a flashy pitch deck or polished credentials — but the kind you earn when you deliver results, own your mistakes, and treat clients like humans, not ticket numbers. That’s how this growing independent digital agency has built real momentum in just a couple of years, by providing digital services they’d happily sell to their Mums. No fluff. No theatre. Just smart marketers, solving real problems, and doing it with honesty and heart.

They’re now looking for a Paid Media Specialist to help carry that mission forward — someone who gets that performance marketing isn’t just about ROAS and CTRs, but about building trust, testing with purpose, and genuinely caring about client outcomes. What this role is all aboutYou’ll step into a hands-on paid media role, working across Meta, Google, TikTok, and maybe a bit of YouTube or LinkedIn, depending on what excites you. This isn’t a factory-style ad machine.

You’ll get to work on diverse accounts across the industry, craft, optimise, and evolve campaigns that balance performance with creativity. You’ll be trusted to lead performance thinking, experiment with new channels, and communicate insights that help brands actually grow. You’ll work closely with a smart, down-to-earth team, reporting into the Head of Paid, bouncing ideas off your fellow media specialists, and collaborating with the SEO and dev teams to make bigger-picture magic happen.

You’ll be a good fit if…You’ve got 2–4+ years of solid hands-on experience across Meta and Google Ads (TikTok experience is a bonus — but enthusiasm to learn is even better). You’re equally excited by the numbers and the narrative — you know how to turn performance data into action and ideas. You’ve worked in an agency environment before, or you just thrive on variety and juggling multiple brands at once. You’re comfortable owning your campaigns end-to-end, from planning and launch to reporting and optimisation.

You’re the kind of person who double-checks your own work, shares ideas openly, and can admit when something didn’t land — and then try something better. The tools you’ll get to play with: Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping, PMAX), TikTok AdsGoogle Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Data StudioAI tools and automation (if it makes things smarter, faster, or clearer — they’re into it)Google Ads Scripts — or at least the curiosity to dive into themWhat success looks like in 6 months:

You’re confidently leading the media mix on your accounts — launching, learning, and optimising with clarity and calm. You’ve contributed ideas that improved campaign results — maybe a new testing framework or a more insightful reporting format. You’ve built relationships with the team and clients based on mutual trust and transparency. You’ve gotten smarter about automation, creative strategy, or a new channel — and you’re sharing that learning with the team. What this agency’s actually like (no jargon): They’re small, nimble, and not trying to be everything to everyone.

The founders are still in the trenches. There are no politics, no rigid hierarchies, and no forced fun Fridays. Just people who care about doing good work, supporting each other, and building long-term relationships with clients and colleagues. You’ll be based in their North Strathfield office a few days a week, but flexibility is a given — trust is earned here, not clocked. If you’ve been looking for a team that cares more about long-term impact than short-term hype — and a role where you can stretch your skills without being stretched thin — this might be the one.
