Job Summary: The Senior Specialist – Legal Contracts Management is responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating construction and infrastructure contracts, including FIDIC-based agreements (e. g. , Red Book, Yellow Book, White Book, etc. ). The role ensures that all contractual activities comply with laws, regulations, and internal policies, while coordinating with internal teams to manage contract risks and safeguard the organization’s interests. Key Responsibilities: Review, draft, and negotiate construction and infrastructure contracts, including various forms of FIDIC contracts (Red Book, Yellow Book, White Book, etc. ). Ensure contractual compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address contractual risks and align on key terms and obligations. Review and redline FIDIC-based contracts and related agreements, ensuring accuracy and clarity. Draft contract templates, amendments, and other required legal documents. Prepare legal memos or advisory notes on contractual clauses, risks, and compliance matters. Provide supporting documentation for negotiations, such as contract summaries and risk analyses. Deliver regular updates and status reports on assigned contract matters to relevant stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in reviewing, drafting, and managing contracts, with strong hands-on experience in FIDIC-based contracts (e. g. , Red Book, Yellow Book, White Book, etc. ). Solid understanding of construction law, contract risk management, and dispute resolution. Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure or construction projects. Fluent in English (written and spoken). Strong legal analysis skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify and assess contractual risks. Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on major projects. Strong communication and negotiation skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Effective time management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
