Job Description

Summary/Objective: The Quality Control Associate will be responsible for supporting PPAP (production part approval process), assisting with inbound/outbound audits, reviewing compliance, field surveying/testing, and supporting the needs of the Product Development department. The pay range for this role is fixed at $50,000 to $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Candidates with strong, relevant experience may be offered salaries toward the higher end of the range, while those earlier in their careers can expect offers aligned with the entry level of the range. Essential Functions: Drive PPAP processes at Kinter's fulfillment center assisting product development, sales, and warehouse receiving in approval processesConduct and oversee quality control processes for incoming shipmentsAudit processes to ensure customers receive proper products. (Purchase orders, product specifications, ERP data, engineering drawings.

)Provide ongoing support in in Continuous Quality Improvement related to internal processesSupport Sales, Product Development & Operations with investigations to ensure proper conflict resolution for customer concernsTake corrective action to resolve customer concernsCreate and update CAD drawingsAssist/support other quality related duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailTime management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesAbility to function well in a fast-paced and evolving environmentExtremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar softwarePreferred Education and Experience:

High school diploma requiredAssociates degree or equivalent experience preferredExperience with Solidworks softwarePhysical RequirementsStanding for prolonged periods of timeAbility to make repetitive movements, including moving of the wrists/and or fingers, bending, or squattingAdjusting or moving objects up to 50 poundsWork EnvironmentThis position will work indoors in a temperature-controlled environment. TravelLocal travel for field surveyingThe Location: Kinter is located on the outskirts of Waukegan, just minutes from Gurnee and Wadsworth.
