With its stunning location and thoughtfully designed space, this café will be a standout feature – and we’re searching for a skilled and creative Chef to bring bold flavours and fresh ideas to life.Job DescriptionAs a Kitchen Assistant for our Cambridge Village you’ll be at the heart of our kitchen’s day-to-day operations. Your support will help ensure our chefs can deliver nutritious, high-quality meals to our residents and visitors. From assisting with food prep to keeping the kitchen clean and organised, you’ll make a big difference behind the scenes – and you’ll be appreciated for it.Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will IncludeAssisting with basic food preparation such as peeling, chopping and portioningHelping with plating and presentation of mealsOperating dishwashers and ensuring all kitchenware is properly sanitisedKeeping kitchen areas clean, organised, and compliantHelping to receive, unpack and store deliveries, including stock rotationThis role will commence on the 27th January 2026. Successful applicants will be asked to join our recruitment open day at the end of November.We are looking for 3 Kitchen Assistants to work the shifts below:Option one: Tuesday to Saturday 9:00am - 4:00pmOption two: Sunday to Wednesday 12:00pm - 7:00pmOption three: Thursday to Saturday 12:00pm - 7:0pm and Sunday 9:00am - 4:00pmQualificationsYou’re approachable, reliable, and a team player with a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to contribute to a high-performing kitchen.
