Your Impact — Core ResponsibilitiesFocus AreaKey ActionsStrategic Quality Leadership Set the vision for food-safety and quality excellence; champion a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory compliance. Lead, coach, and develop a multi-site Quality & Regulatory team.
Regulatory & Certification Compliance Own all USDA, SQF, and HACCP programs; ensure audit-readiness 365 days a year. Manage third-party, customer, and regulatory audits; drive corrective-action closure. Systems & Process Improvement Analyze quality data to identify trends, prevent recurrence, and optimize yields. Collaborate with Operations, R&D, and Supply Chain on process controls and specification management. Issue Resolution Oversee product holds, customer complaints, and non-conformance investigations; prepare RCA reports and verify effectiveness of corrective actions. New-Product & Staff Development Partner with R&D on commercialization trials; verify that new items meet all regulatory and customer requirements.
Design and deliver training on food-safety, GMPs, and SQF fundamentals for all plant personnel. RequirementsWhat You’ll Bring — Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s in Food Science, Microbiology, or closely related field. Experience: 7 + years directing USDA-regulated food-safety and quality systems (HACCP, SQF). 5 + years leading and mentoring QA/QC teams in high-volume production. Expertise: Mastery of USDA regulations, HACCP plan development, SQF Edition 9, and audit management; PCQI certification preferred. Leadership: Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams, communicate at every level, and drive a proactive food-safety culture. Location:
