As a Project Engineer in our Advanced Marine Operations (AMO) department, you will be involved in exciting projects from planning to execution. You will help combine our industry expertise with advanced digital tools and dynamic simulations.

We are looking for someone who is self-driven, eager to grow, and open to new challenges. You will receive the training and mentoring needed to succeed in this role. AMO is recognized globally for its engineering and consultancy services. We specialise in supporting marine operations and floating production systems through advanced dynamic simulations. Our expertise includes the analysis of riser and umbilical systems, power cables, and the design and commissioning of riser integrity monitoring solutions. We deliver real-time decision support tools for drilling operations, integrated with other KONGSBERG bridge systems. Offshore wind is a growing focus area for us.

We are actively developing concepts for efficient wind turbine installation, such as pull-in and towing operations, and we carry out analyses of related systems including floater behavior, mooring configurations, and power cable response. Start date: Flexible, ideally in the second half of 2025. Sc. degree with specialization in areas like hydrodynamics, marine construction and/or marine cyberneticsGood grasp on Python, Excel or similar for data science and data processing Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
