Job Description

GG13, Medical ProfessionalProviding scientific consultation for the company’s products in the local organisation, with a focus on growth brandsRespond to medical-scientific requests and communicate medical-scientific information to customers, authorities, and local company organisations. Stay updated on scientific trends and knowledge through literature reviews, scientific congresses, conferences, and internal therapeutic area trainings. Work closely with local marketing departments and/or Regional Brand Leads to support product positioning through scientific publications. Represent the company and manage the medical image among external stakeholders, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)/Key External Experts (KEEs), physicians, and scientific circles. Ensure proper mapping of local KOLs/KEEs for growth brands. Approve medical texts and specialised informationBroadening of medical knowledge:Provide scientific advice and education on a peer-to-peer level to healthcare professionals (HCPs), KOLs/KEEs, and other relevant stakeholders. Uphold ethical business practices to preserve and develop the company's reputation and image. Navigate discussions on off-label topics with a high degree of critical thinking and adherence to ethical guidelines. Function effectively in a highly regulated environment, adhering to internal guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Collaborate closely with the sales department to transmit, maintain, and continuously broaden medical knowledge within sales force teams. Conduct regular staff trainings and initial trainings as necessary to develop staff members' medical knowledge and prepare them for expanded therapeutic areas of responsibility. Monitor medical trainings through mandatory knowledge tests and communicate potential gaps to management. Close cooperation with the Country Director:Contribute to align medical goals of growth brands within the local organisation. Collaborate with local marketing teams to brainstorm and explore medical strategy options. Identify and address specific local medical challenges. Collaborate to validate medical brand positioning for the region and/or patient-centric approaches when applicable.
