As a Japan-originated, global company with our footprint in over 60 countries and regions, our mission is to provide essential and significant value to patients and society through our products and services created from our expertise in ophthalmology and from the patient’s perspective.Job DescriptionDevelop and execute pricing strategies for the assigned therapeutic areas, considering market dynamics, product value, reimbursement policies, and competitive landscape. Collaborate with New Launch Planning, Therapeutic Area Development, Marketing, and cross-functional teams (e.g., Regulatory), to align market access strategies with product development, launch, and lifecycle management activities. Examples of such strategies include early access programs, special access schemes, compassionate use programs and value-based pricing schemes. Develop and execute reimbursement strategies to secure and optimize reimbursement coverage for the company's products within target markets. Engage with payer stakeholders, including health authorities, private payers, and reimbursement agencies, to navigate the reimbursement landscape and ensure product access for patients. Collaborate cross-functionally to generate and communicate evidence of product value and cost-effectiveness to support market access and pricing discussions. Develop business acumen for the next level of leadership and prepare capabilities to play roles in various functions for future career.Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team membersQualificationsBachelor's degree in Health Economics or Health Policy or Pharmacy, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.Comprehensive experience (minimum 7 years) in pricing, reimbursement, and market access within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry in Korea.Strong understanding of pricing and access strategies, health economics, and reimbursement processes of Korea markets.Strong project management and strategic thinking capabilities.Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Experience in engaging with external stakeholders such as payers, reimbursement agencies, and patient advocacy groups.Fluent English & Korean, spoken & writtenAdditional InformationGrow your career at SantenA career at Santen is an opportunity to make a difference.
