Kroll’s Senior Compliance Specialist will work with Compliance management to maintain and administer all aspects of the firm’s Restructuring and Fund Solutions compliance program. Responsible for performing day to day compliance duties, routinely communicating regulatory requirements to employees, and ensuring all firm processes are being followed.
Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesWork with central compliance to administer regulated funds and restructuring compliance programsGain an understanding of global fund solutions, insolvency, and restructuring servicesAssist with maintenance of regulatory compliance requirements including CIMA Manage routine regulatory filings as necessaryUpdate and maintain policies, procedures, standards, and guidelinesStay current on regulatory updates and changes Identify, communicate, and escalate compliance related issues as appropriateInteract with the business on a regular basis to communicate regulatory requirements and assist with questions or issues Assist with Anti Money Laundering program Assist central compliance team with special projects wherever possibleEssential Traits3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry strongly preferredBachelor’s Degree required.
Legal background or experience a plusIn depth knowledge of Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) regulationsFamiliarity with regulated fund environment across additional regulatory regimes (BVI, Mauritius, Bermuda, Gibraltar) a plus Knowledge of SEC regulations (Investment Advisers Act, Investment Company Act) a plusSelf-starter who can take direction easily and work independently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skillsAbility to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environmentAbout KrollJoin the global leader in risk and financial advisory solutions—Kroll.
