Job Description
About the RoleYou’ll manage, optimize, and secure Kubernetes and RHOCP clusters across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. You’ll also collaborate closely with DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to automate deployments, enhance observability, and ensure uninterrupted service delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, upgrade, and manage the lifecycle of RHOCP/Kubernetes clusters.Ensure high availability, performance, and disaster recovery readiness.Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting via Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or OpenShift tools.Manage RBAC, network policies, SCCs, TLS/SSL, and integrate with LDAP/OAuth for access control.Administer networking (CNI) and storage (CSI/ODF) components for persistent data needs.Support DevOps CI/CD workflows (Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD, GitOps).Automate operations using Ansible, Terraform, Helm.Troubleshoot complex cluster, node, and network issues.Maintain accurate technical documentation and resource optimization through quotas and autoscaling.Must-Have Qualifications3–5+ years of hands-on experience managing Kubernetes / OpenShift clusters.Strong command of RHOCP administration (installations, upgrades, lifecycle management).Proficiency in Ansible, Terraform, and Helm.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring stacks, and security controls (RBAC, TLS, OAuth).Solid understanding of networking, storage, and Linux system administration.Experience working in on-prem or hybrid enterprise environments.
