Have the skill to disassemble and reassemble machinery in accordance with specifications. Be able to complete assigned jobs with very little directsupervision. Roles & Responsibilities: His responsibilities shall include, but not limited to the following: Complete all electrical works in accordance with Company procedures and meet SHEERS guidelines.
Test, calibrate, adjust & install all kinds of relays, meters, automatic starting push buttons, Current Transformers (CT) and Potential Transformers (PT), miniature circuit breakers (MCB) and molded case circuit breakers (MCCB), thermal overload relays. Carry out periodic topping of electrolyte level, check specific gravity and clean batteries installed in substations and UPS rooms. Carry out all relay tests using Multiamp relay tester both at Site and at workshop, calibrate & repair all kinds of power protection relays. Carry out electrical works such as cutting, bending and installing conduits, modifying circuit and the like. Instruct less skilled personnel in on-the-job maintenance functions.
Carry out all control wiring installation circuits in all types of high and low voltage switch gears. Co-ordinate with company authorities to secure spare parts to perform the required activities.
