In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of robust Know Your Business (KYB) procedures tailored to legal entity customers, ensuring full compliance with Austrian FM-GwG, WiEReG, and EU regulatory frameworks such Transfer of Funds Regulation. Your work will directly contribute to safeguarding our platform through effective onboarding, monitoring, and risk management practices for corporate clients.This position is ideal for professionals with a strong AML/KYB background from crypto exchanges, EMI-licensed fintechs, or regulated banks, who understand the unique challenges of corporate/institutional onboarding and crypto-related financial crime risks.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, document, and implement KYB processes, procedures, and controls for onboarding and reviewing legal entity clients. Ensure alignment with Austrian FM-GwG and WiEReG obligations—particularly around UBO identification, KYB questionnaire, source of wealth/funds, and EDD triggers.Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments for corporate clients, conduct risk calculation on an customer level, and define cases, which are to be escalated within the AFC team.Collaborate with product, engineering, and external vendors to optimize KYB workflows and tool integrations (e.g., for IDV, UBO mapping, and PEP/sanctions screening). Monitor changes in corporate structure, and financial activity to maintain an up-to-date risk view across the corporate client base. Support periodic AFC reporting (e.g., EWRA, AFC reporting) and internal audits related to corporate client compliance. Act as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders on legal entity onboarding and KYB policy interpretation. Assist in building KYB training content and help foster awareness of onboarding risks across commercial and operational teams.What We’re Looking For 3+ years of hands-on experience in KYB, AML/CFT, or corporate onboarding—preferably in crypto, banking, or fintech.Profound knowledge of FM-GwG, WiEReG and related Austrian AML/CFT obligations.Familiarity with KYB systems, case management tools, and risk-based customer due diligence practices for legal entities. Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills; able to translate complex ownership structures into actionable insights. Excellent English communication skills; German proficiency is a strong asset.
