Job Description

Role OverviewAs an (experienced) KYC Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements by managing end-to-end KYC processes for existing clients. In this position, you’ll conduct periodic reviews, liaise with clients and internal teams, and monitor risks related to money laundering, terrorist financing, and sanctions. Your expertise will help maintain high standards of due diligence while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency. Working in a hybrid setup from our Amsterdam office, you’ll take ownership of your responsibilities and contribute to strengthening our compliance framework.Key ResponsibilitiesCDD Reviews: Perform periodic Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews on existing clients to ensure compliance.Client & Front-Office Liaison: Coordinate with clients and front-office teams to collect and validate all required KYC documentation.Incoming Requests: Occasionally handle new KYC requests and manage communication with relevant stakeholders.Process Management: Oversee the full KYC lifecycle and identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.Risk Monitoring: Assess and monitor risks related to money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions, and other regulatory exposures.Regulatory Awareness: Stay informed on EU AML Directives, WWFT, and other relevant regulatory developments.What You’ll BringExperience: 3–4 years of hands-on KYC experience within a regulated financial institution (e.g., asset management, investment firm, bank, trust company). Familiarity with Dutch regulations is a plus.Education: A bachelor’s degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations, Criminology, or Sociology.Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ICA or ACAMS are considered an advantage.Knowledge: Strong understanding of WWFT, EU AML Directives, and the Sanctions Act.Skills: Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and maintain attention to detail.Languages: Working proficiency in English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.Location: Based in or near Amsterdam, with a hybrid work arrangement (3–4 days in the office).This is a temporary role (7–12 months) that offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on compliance processes while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Immediate availability is preferred.
