Job PurposeTakes responsibility for tracking and analyzing a company's financial performance and market conditions to prepare in all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting process and reporting. Helping local management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports and through collaboration with the team and related departments. Support to prepare analysis materials coupled with explanation of variance vs. comparison numbers (budget/forecast/last year). Ensure accurate financial reporting through planning system (TM1 & SAP BPC) to Head office.
In addition to planning and controlling responsibility, directly involved in accounting operations, allowing for an in-depth understanding of the company’s overall reporting structure. Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly reporting package with a punctual mannerConduct financial forecast & budgeting and analyze actual financial result in comparison with vs. last year, budget & forecastConsolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, forecasts & etc.
) considering the company’s goals and financial standingUpload & maintain data on SAP Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) including TM1Conduct financial analysis for new store open/store closing approval process including renovation/relocationAnalyze financial impact for any types of promotionsAnalyze store performance with productivity and profitability of storesPrepare various sales report including rolling forecastPrepare comments for various report(PL, sales, etc) through accurate and deep analysisOn-time reports with various ad-hoc reportsGaining an understanding of the company’s financial structure through hands-on accounting works(AR/AP/GL)Involve in ad-hoc FP&A/Finance projects and support process improvement that impacts functionsPerform ad hoc reporting and analysis for projects as requested.
Perform cost analysis and support to align budget and reforecast costs in PL with actual costsSustainability- Explore sustainable opportunities in work and implement it in daily work.
Job RequirementAcademic / Professional Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldWork Experience +3 ~ +7 years of relevant experience is required in finance, planning and analysis of MNCRetail business experience is preferredRequired CompetenciesIn-depth understanding of IFRS and K-GAAPExperience with statistical analysis and financial forecastingGood working knowledge of Excel and financial modelingAccounting experience is preferredAttention to details, self-motivatedNecessary to have an attitude of self-study in acquiring work Good interpersonal skills to build relationships across diverse departmentsAbility to communicate complex financial topics clearlyGood verbal and written communication skills in EnglishKnowledge of NAV and SAP BPC will be an advantageL’OCCITANE is an equal opportunities employer.
