This individual will help with day-to-day content publishing, copywriting, and channel management across Clippers-owned and Intuit Dome channels, with a focus on engaging and growing audiences on social media.
It is imperative that this role be able to manage the message, tone, and content across each social platform, and to broaden engagement of Clippers fans through creative, well-produced and well-timed content. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of how people digest and engage with social content, an eye for detail, and stay up to date on emerging platforms, industry trends, and best practices. You will need to have a good understanding of how data and analytics inform content best practices.

Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover NBA games. What You Will DoDevelop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the LA Clippers brand, audience growth goals, and engagement objectives. Oversee content creation and storytelling across platforms, ensuring high quality, innovative, and compelling digital content that captures fan interest.
Responsible for growing the LA Clippers social following and engagement by staying up to date on social trends and developing social content that will drive fan interest. Direct coverage of LA Clippers events, including home games, community initiatives, and other team events, with the goal to produce compelling content that captures fan attention and maximizes engagement Day-to-day social publishing and copywriting in the company defined voice and tone of team accounts. Partner with cross-functional teams (eg. Sales and Partnerships) to support initiatives that drive business objectives through social media.
Lead and manage a team of Social Media associates, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment. Set the vision & plan for practice / game days to ensure team is focused and clear on priorities Provide high-level oversight of photography and videography efforts for social content, ensuring alignment with digital storytelling objectives.
Support social media needs across the department including key intuit dome events and concerts on an as-needed basis Establish and maintain the social media calendar for the full season – collaborating across departments (creative, communications, partnership marketing, etc) to ensure objectives & key deliverables are met Monitor trends in organic, branded, and paid social media, leveraging insights to inform LA Clippers audience development and content strategies Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, sponsorship agreements, and legal considerations related to digital content.
Ensure the fan growth of the Clippers/Intuit Dome channels Your Background, Skills And Qualifications3+ years of experience in digital, marketing or content role – Sports experience preferred. Deep understanding of how major social platforms work (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Tik Tok, etc. ), and the ability to use each platform’s features effectively. Strong visual eye with regard to the curation of graphics, photography, and video for social publishing. Ability to spot trends in real-time, think quickly on your feet & deliver clever copy that integrates us into culture. Skillset in photography and videography is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills, acute attention to detail, ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced and time critical environment. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a must. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Willingness and ability to work game nights, weekends and holidays as needed. Self-starter, data-driven thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to collaborate in a team-based culture. About Intuit Dome: Opened in August 2024, Intuit Dome is the new home of the LA Clippers and will host hundreds of sporting events and concerts each year. Located in Inglewood, Calif.

CompensationThe range for this position is $85,000 - $90,000 annual compensation.  Compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
