Position OverviewWe are currently supporting a leading player in the hospitality and lifestyle sector in theirsearch for a Vice President, Insights & Analytics to lead and evolve their data and analyticsstrategy. This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for data strategy,governance, technical innovation, and business intelligence across the organisation. Thesuccessful candidate will drive cross-functional alignment, oversee the execution of AI andanalytics initiatives, and provide key insights that directly impact profitability and operationalefficiency. Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and drive the company-wide Data, Analytics & AI strategy to support long-term business growth.
Lead the execution of technical and strategic data initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Establish a strong data governance and quality framework through standardization and best practices. Manage and mentor a team of 10+ engineers, analysts, and architects, aligning tasks with strengths to boost delivery and performance. Oversee implementation of SOPs and compliance frameworks to reduce risk andimprove design accuracy. Act as the product owner for data-related initiatives, ensuring cohesive prioritization across business units. Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts related to data and technology functions, enhancing financial accuracy.
Provide strategic insights and reporting to the executive team, aligning KPIs with profitability and efficiency goals. Drive hiring, onboarding, and performance management for the Insights & Analytics team. Requirements8+ years of experience in data, analytics, or business intelligence leadership roles. Proven track record of developing and executing data strategies in complex, matrixedorganizations. Strong knowledge of data governance, data platforms, and AI-driven analytics. Experience managing and scaling multidisciplinary teams in a high-impactenvironment. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders andtranslate data into strategic insight. Background in hospitality, retail, or consumer-focused industries is a plus but notessential.
