Job DescriptionPosition: Video ProducerDepartment: MarketingFLSA Status: ExemptSalary Range: $69,000 - $74,000Statement of the Job: The Video Producer, reporting to the Senior Video Producer, will lead the creation and execution of video content across multiple channels. In this creative and dynamic role, the Video Producer will transform storyboards and concepts into compelling, high-quality videos that educate, inspire, and engage our audiences. This effort will support ticket sales for events at Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, The Ford, YOLA and other venues and programs.

The Video Producer will play a vital role in advancing our mission to promote and celebrate the arts and the LA Phil’s role in our community. The Video Team Strives ToCreate beautiful work across a wide breadth of topics and styles. Produce content at a high volume to reflect the organization’s many programs. Primary ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of original video content creation, including pre-production, production, and post-production processes, including planning, scheduling, shooting, motion graphics, editing, mixing, color grading, and deployment. Engage and manage production crews, secure locations, obtain necessary permits, and facilitate production needs. Understand and embody LA Phil’s strategic brand messaging to create video content that advances both marketing and institutional narratives. Ensure all projects meet high creative standards, are delivered on time, and stay within budget.

Collaborate with the Video and other teams to develop video content strategies for LA Phil, Hollywood Bowl, The Ford, YOLA, and internal departments across websites, social media, digital platforms, and video series. Partner with departments such as Programming, Learning, Philanthropy, and Production, to represent LA Phil’s strategic vision effectively, turning project briefs into actionable production plans. Collaborate, train, onboard, and share knowledge with members of the Video Team. Maintain strong relationships with vendors, guest artist management, and internal stakeholders to ensure a balanced message that aligns with the project's strategic vision.

Ensure all projects meet rights and licensing requirements with guidance from Legal and Media Initiatives departments. Manage and maintain video assets, gear inventory, security, and internal archives. Source, edit, and clear rights for internal video assets for use by external stakeholders, such as news media or artist projects. Work with the Senior Video Producer and Senior Director, Brand to manage project budgets, schedules, approvals, and deliverables, incorporating feedback and tracking production milestones. Utilize qualitative and quantitative analytics to refine and advance video strategies. When assigned, travel with LA Phil on tours to produce content across various channels.

Embrace and implement emerging video platforms and production techniques, including 360-degree and VR content. Budget, track, and finalize expenses for projects as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. RelationshipsReports To: Senior Video ProducerInteracts With:
