LondonStart Date: September 2026 (GDL) / September 2027 (Training)From Lab to LawEIP is proud to announce our new Trainee Solicitor Pathway for STEM graduates who are interested in qualifying as a solicitor specialising in into patent law. Science and technology is at the heart of what we do - if you would like a professional services career with a science and technology focus, read on!This is a fantastic opportunity to complete the journey from STEM graduate/postgraduate to a qualified solicitor. Our three-year scheme supports STEM specialists as they complete their fully funded Graduate Diploma in Law over the first year and then join our team for a two-year period of training whilst fully employed and working on real cases with the team.In year one you will complete the Graduate Diploma in Law; a full-time university course, and you will complete this at our preferred provider. EIP will fund your course fees and offer assistance with living costs. You will also be encouraged to maintain contact with the team and will be invited to social events and team off-sites.The trainee solicitor will then join our leading litigation department and will gain direct experience working closely with the solicitors and partners on complex patent cases.Who We Are Looking ForWe would be interested to hear from high-achieving graduates or post-graduates in a STEM subject.
